But, she gets caught by Greed's gang, and Greed himself starts interrogating her. Lan Fan isn't talking, so Greed tries another motive: talk about himself, and maybe she'll be compelled to talk about herself after. So, he reveals that he's a homunculus. Bradley's army raids, and Lan Fan gets the chance to escape and head back to Rush Valley, where Ling and Fu happen to be. The story follows canon up until Ling accepting Greed. He reasons with Ed that this was the intel that Lan Fan followed and that this is what they all worked for. Greed 2.0 is born. During Greed's downtime, Ling demands that he sees Lan Fan to make sure she's okay post-surgery. So Greed, wanting to shut Ling up, goes and visits Lan Fan. Lan Fan notices a bad chi from Ling, so she's sarcastic and defensive. Greed reveals himself (with no recollection of their prior meeting in Dublith), and Lan Fan flips her shit. The story follows canon until Greed starts getting back his memories. As he's remembering his possessions (read as: friends) from the Devil's Nest, he remembers meeting Lan Fan. Along with Ling's memories of Lan Fan sacrificing her arm for Ling, Greed goes after Bradley and gets his ass handed to him. Later on, Lan Fan comes back and Greed goes heart-eyes on how she totally kicks ass. He's also extra worried during their battle with Pride and Gluttony, later on Pride only (after he ate Gluttony). After Hohenheim traps Al and Pride together, Greed goes on his own agenda, and Lan Fan follows a few steps behind to keep an eye on him.
